We are looking for a caring and nurturing person to join the Harvey Oaks team as our Health Room Para.  The current hours for the position are 8:30 - 3:30 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.  Responsibilities include:  Providing first aid, CPR, minor illness care and medication administration for the school community under the direction of the school nurse.

Position requires a high level of responsibility and ability to work as a team with the CNA/CMA, staff and administrator.  The scope of practice, activities, and duties of the Health Room Paraprofessional are defined by and are subject to the nurse Practice Act in the State of Nebraska.  Also responsible for additional duties as assigned by the school principal on days when CNA/CMA is in the building.
