Millard Central Middle School is seeking a part-time Alternative Curriculum Program paraprofessional for the 2017-18 school year.  The paraprofessional would work Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 3 PM.  The paraprofessional would work with students or one-to-one with a student with a identified learning disability.

Essential Functions:

1. Supports certified personnel by assisting with the academic instruction of individual or small groups of students to reinforce and follow-up learning activity.

2. Assists with the supervision of student behavior: Assists students with proper social skills, records behavior, and helps keep the children on task and in control. 

3. Assists the certified teacher by preparing instructional materials, grading papers, making copies, keeping records, cleaning up, or performing other duties as needed. 

4. Assists children with personal hygiene skills such as toileting, diapering, and feeding if needed. 

5. Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
