This position is for the Alternate Curriculum Program at Rockwell Elementary.

Applicants must: • LOVE KIDS • Demonstrate positive relationship skills • Work cooperatively as part of a team in a school environment • Display patience, caring and understanding • Assist students with daily tasks such as toileting, feeding, transferring • Support students academically and behaviorally• Maintain confidentiality • Ability to independently follow through on job-related responsibilities • Maintain good attendance

• The para will be interacting with teachers and supporting students throughout the school day (classrooms, lunch, recess, pe, music, etc.) and working on a team of special educators (8 am-3:45 pm M-F) 35 hours/week. Bus riding to a nearby childcare center will be a part of the daily shared paraprofessional duties
