All certificated jobs will be posted for at least one week. Depending on the size of the applicant pool, postings may be extended beyond a week.  Building principals may start scheduling interviews before the posting end date, but no jobs will be offered until a job has been posted for one week.

Cottonwood Elementary, is seeking a Structured Behavior Skills teacher beginning the 2020-2021 school year. MPS's Structured Behavior Skills program provides an exceptional academic and social skills instruction for K-5 students. Candidate must:

• be certified in special education and/or have a special interest/skills or certification in behavior 
• demonstrate strong relational and communication skills
• be skilled at effectively delivering Tier 1 academic instruction
• be skilled at data based decision making 
• demonstrate knowledge of function based thinking and Cognitive-Behavioral Interventions
• implement effective specialized small group instruction
• design and implement individual education plans and programs for each student
