.5 High Ability Learner Facilitator at Wheeler Elementary

Wheeler Elementary is in search of a positive and innovative .5 HAL Facilitator to join our team for the 2020-2021 school year. We are seeking candidates that are skilled in building relationships with students, staff, and families. This candidate should value collaboration, demonstrate flexibility, have organizational skills, and a strong problem-solving mindset.

The HAL Philosophy is that in the continuing pursuit of educational excellence, the Millard Public Schools will recognize and develop the unique talents and diverse qualities of students with high academic, intellectual, creative, and/or artistic ability so that each child will be challenged to achieve his or her full potential. This will be accomplished through a partnership of students, home, school and community, clearly defined criteria for identification and curriculum development and measurable standards of student performance, and broad-based and diverse educational opportunities.

Appropriate Nebraska Teaching Certificate required.  Gifted Education Certification preferred but not required.

All certified jobs will be posted for at least one week. Depending on the size of the applicant pool, postings may be extended beyond a week. Building principals may start scheduling interviews before the posting end date, but no jobs will be offered until a job has been posted for one week.
