The Itinerant Elementary Support Teacher will be assigned as needed to an elementary building(s) to take on classroom duties in case of an extended or daily teacher absence.  The Itinerant Elementary Support Teacher will be responsible for teaching prepared lessons or preparing their own instructional materials. The main duty is to ensure that students receive the required instruction according to the District's curriculum.  They also need to maintain student records regarding grades and attendance, assign and grade homework and class assignments and work closely with adminstrators on their role during the primary teacher's absence.

Contract: 194-day teaching contract

Salary and Benefits commensurate with the MPS/MEA Teacher Collective Bargaining Agreement
