HIRING PROCEDURES
- Applications are to be submitted on-line by March 17, 2024.
- Hiring of elementary staff will first involve the attempt to provide a full schedule for teachers. To assist us in this endeavor, candidates must identify all of the courses they feel qualified to teach.
- Interviews for elementary positions will be conducted as needed. Further information will be provided at a later date regarding the time and place of interviews.
- Salary: Summer school teachers holding a valid teaching certificate will be paid $34.00 per hour for teaching and planning time. Summer school teachers who hold a substitute teaching certificate will be paid at the hourly rate of $23.57 for teaching and planning time.
- Planning time will be paid at the rate of one hour for every five hours of teaching.
- Every attempt will be made to ensure notification of teaching and staff assignments by May 10, 2024. Please note that adjustments may be made after this date to accommodate enrollment.
