Wheeler Elementary is seeking to fill an intervention paraprofessional position to work with small groups and individual students. This position will support students in the areas of reading and math as well as assist during the lunch/recess portion of the day. 

 

Approximate Hours:

M/T/Th/F 9:10-2

Wednesday 8:15-2:30

Total: 23 Hours Per Week

 

An ideal candidate must possess the following:

• Enjoy working with kids
• Ability to organize data and follow daily lesson plans
• Good communication with classroom teachers
• Confidentiality
• Value and contribute to a positive work environment

All jobs will be posted for at least one week. Depending on the size of the applicant pool, postings may be extended beyond a week. Building principals may start scheduling interviews before the posting end date, but no jobs will be offered until a job has been posted for a full week.
