The English Learner (EL) teacher provides English language development
instruction to students who are acquiring English as an additional language, working collaboratively with other instructional personnel, including a district-wide team of EL teachers, to meet the individual needs of each child.

 

Required activities include planning and delivering lessons, collaborating with classroom teachers and specialists, administering formative and summative assessments, completing documentation required for compliance with ESSA Title III and NDE Rule 15, and attending district EL meetings and professional development offerings.

 

Millard is currently looking for elementary and secondary EL teachers.  The assigned school will be determined in the spring of 2025.
