Millard West High School, home to a state championship marching band, is seeking a passionate and skilled Assistant Band Director to join our outstanding music program. Our band program emphasizes musical excellence, teamwork, and community pride. Here is a link to the Millard West Band web page. 

Responsibilities

• Assist with the award-winning marching band, concert ensembles, jazz bands, and pep band.
• Lead sectional rehearsals and provide individual student mentoring.
• Collaborate on planning performances, trips, and events.
• Promote a positive and inclusive band culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or related field (required).
• Nebraska Teaching Certificate (or eligibility).
• Experience in music instruction, conducting, or band leadership preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
