Math Instructional Paraprofessional and Health Office back-up.

Applicants should have the following qualities: a positive, collaborative attitude, flexibility, and strong math skills.

Applicant will also be responsible for covering the health office for 35-40 minutes each day. Para will be trained by the school nurse and health office para on all aspect of the job responsibilities.

Health Office Para Responsibilities:

Dispensing student medications.

Managing student health plans that include diabetes, seizure disorders, and feeding tubes.

Parent phone calls related to health office visits.


*This position requires 48 hours from an accredited college/university. A copy of the official transcript must accompany the application to be considered or be willing to complete Project Para.

Math Intervention Paraprofessional Responsibilities:

Para will work with students K-5, one-on-one and in small groups. 

Assist teacher in implementing math curriculum/lessons, proctoring & monitoring assessments.
Monitor math proficiency progress to adjust specific interventions & assist teacher in evaluating & modifying math goals.

Days and hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday approximate hours, 8:15-4:00 pm
Wednesday approximate hours, 8:15-3:45
